Symposium on the Project to Create a Base for the "Future Sanshin Culture of Okinawa"

I participated as an observer at the "Symposium on the Project to Create a Base for the "Future Sanshin Culture of Okinawa", organized by the Okinawa Prefectural Sanshin Craftmen Cooperative Association and supported by the Okinawa Prefectural Foundation for Cultural Promotion. The symposium featured an introduction to the current state of the Sanshin industry and the initiatives of Sanshin-related organizations, followed by Sanshin industry collaboration and an opinion exchange.
When collaboration in the Sanshin industry was discussed, the Okinawa Prefectural Sanshin Craftmen Cooperative Association proposed a Sanshin project for the 7th festival. Since there are many requests from Uchinānchu to hold sanshin related events, the secretariat will coordinate with the Okinawa Prefectural Sanshin Craftmen Cooperative Association to realize the Sanshin related projects.
