The 7th Worldwide Uchinanchu Festival

The Presentation and award ceremony of the theme song for the 7^th Worldwide Uchinānchu Festival to be held in 2022 was held during the Uchinānchu Day Live Talk Show on October 30.

"Utarana, Udurana," was chosen as the theme song and Mr. Toshiharu Tamaki, the composer of the song, was presented with a letter of commendation and a cash prize by Mr. Miyagi, the Director of the Department of Culture, Tourism and Sports, who is a member of the committee.

The song was performed for the first time by the group, Green Note Coaster, who are to perform the song and are from Okinawa.

We would like you to publicize the theme song at your events, so that many people become familiar with the song and to encourage them to attend next year's festival.
